When you see a runway covered in fallen leaves, you know the the collection will be largely focused on autumnal looks that will transition into the coldest moments of winter. You expect to see deep earthy hues, smart layering moments, and functional, yet stylish outerwear. Umit Benan projected all of this within the first looks of the Trussardi Fall 2013 Collection.
Using a strong palette of rust, blue, and olive, Trussardi AW13 was all about tailored looks for the outdoors. Heavy corduroy suits, super turtlenecks, trenches and anoraks were standout pieces that showcased the autumnal palette, and also showcased Benan’s focus on keeping the luxe element while being able to relate to the rough and rugged.
