There’s one amazing things about daylight savings; you gain an extra hour of sleep (or party) time! Of course, there are some annoying aspects that about Daylight Savings:
1. You have to actually remember the date
2. You essentially go to work and leave work in the dark
3. You have to change your timepieces
For the super busy (or lazy) gentleman, its a chore to take the time to pull out the button and turn it a full rotation to reflect the new hour. Sometimes its a psychological nightmare to think that in mid-change, you no longer have an accurate account of time because your second and minute hands have been subject to your confusion.
One saving grace is the fact that on your wrist lies a work of art that can be admired by many. Aknowledgement of this fact will force even the laziest man to ensure the accuracy of time so that when people admire your watch, they say words like “amazing” or “I want that one in brown,” instead of “you do realize daylight savings was last week, right?“
For this upcoming weekend’s time change, I’ve instagramed my top timepieces for moving your style forward by turning your clocks back:
Polka dots and penny loafers (although I inserted nickels instead) were a great match with the black SoBe tech piece by Glamrock Watches. The bezel of the watch appears to have a woven effect, which when photographed, picks up a polka dot illusion of its own.
Embracing Fall, mixing wool gingham with corduroy and a vintage leather bomber, the brown SoBe Tech piece from Glamrock Watches encompassed the same mixture of texture as the other pieces I wore.
Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I matched my pink plaid shirt with luxury items on my wrist and feet. My gucci loafers were a great complement to the Girard-Perregaux timepiece. This watch is the epitome of classic luxury; clean face, blue dial, embossed leather band, and an intricate clasp preserve its timeless appeal for gentlemen of all ages, with similar tastes in timepieces.
Ready for the rallies and registration drives for the upcoming election, the limited edition Rock the Vote set by Modify Watches was the perfect choice. The bands are interchangeable, and each peek at the time is a reminder of why this time of year is so important.
