Nick Knight’s “Midas Touch” spread for Vogue came to life during the London 2012 Olympics Closing Ceremony as the UK was celebrated for its influence in fashion. Launching in the September Issue of Vogue UK, the spread features British supermodels Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Stella Tennant, Lily Cole, Karen Elson, Lily Donaldson, Georgia Mae Jagger, and the lone male David Gandy. Donning golden looks from British designers including Alexander McQueen, Victoria Beckham and Vivienne Westwood, we get a well needed reminder of how powerful the fashion scene is from the Queen’s country. I do miss Agyness Deyn from this spread, but with names like Naomi and Kate, you can’t go wrong!
