For Hardy Amies Spring 2013, Claire Malcom brought the iconc British brand to Paris, presenting a modern, style-forward take on the classic trademarks of the brand. A brand known for its sharply tailored, bespoke, royal vibe, Hardy Amies SS13 kept those elements but you would have thought this aesthetic of classic menswear were formed in 2012 and not the 1930′s. Pleated trouser shorts, embroidered polos and kaleidoscope printed jackets added this modern element to the collection, but it was overbearing in the slightest; the typical Hardy Amies man could pull off these looks if they truly wanted to, and that same man would do it with the utmost level of sophistication and class.
